Though I've played in just about every type of band, from big band jazz to funk, my first love is still playingsolo in the close, sometimes intimate atmosphere of the piano bar. eginning in the early 80's in the Philadelphia-Atlantic City area, and continuing, with some breaks in between, for the last thirty years, I've had the pleasure of playing on island cruises and in major cities, and have always enjoyed the great people who make each night unique. While the songs often remain the same, the nights are always different and exciting, and I look forward to many more to come. My songlist now comprises hundreds of tunes from every era and it's always fun when I'm asked for something particularly obscure-I often find someone else liked the same oddball stuff I did when I was a kid! My day job as a music therapist has led me down musical avenues I might not have traveled otherwise, and it all adds up to enjoyable evenings that are sometimes soft and romantic and other times dance-till-you-drop all night parties. Stiill love doing this after all these years!
